Nhleko Scaffolding & Formwork are “Igniting” the Construction Industry

The exponential growth of small, black-owned businesses in construction has left the door open for Nhleko Scaffolding & Formwork to step in and supply the industry with the components that play a vital role in their success: scaffolding and formwork.

Being recognised for our invaluable contribution to this ever-expanding industry has led to Nhleko Scaffolding & Formwork being nominated for the prestigious Nedbank Business Ignite award. From humble beginnings, we have slowly integrated our innovative approach towards access and formwork solutions in almost all aspects of construction and building maintenance within Gauteng and surrounding areas.

We have always aspired to become the leading organisation of scaffold and formwork solutions within the South African construction industry, and this nomination is proof that our vision is being realised. We continuously aim to provide valuable insights and unrivalled expertise while investing in the development of future leaders who contribute toward Africa’s economic growth.

Nhleko Scaffolding & Formwork

Building Communities One Scaffold at a Time

Small construction and maintenance projects are often met with budget constraints, and the outright purchase of scaffolding is an expensive investment many companies cannot afford. Understanding this, we at Nhleko Scaffolding & Formwork introduced bespoke hire options, giving growing companies financial relief and flexible scaffolding hire solutions to remain within cost parameters.

Through the years, we have celebrated significant milestones that have enabled us to grow our business and offer the construction industry more than access and formwork solutions. We realised that our focus needed to extend to bridging the gap between the architectural vision and seeing it through to completion. This led to the introduction of our end-to-end project management consultancy with a particular emphasis on infrastructure development, without compromising on our core specialisation; scaffolding and formwork.

We differentiate ourselves through our comprehensive and constantly evolving suite of products and services. Our dedication to affordability ensures our scaffolding and formwork solutions are accessible to a broad spectrum of construction projects, from large-scale infrastructure developments to renovations. We offer a high degree of customisation within our rental options, ensuring that we meet every project and customer’s specific requirements. We are consistently recognised for our valuable contributions to the South African construction industry, and our proven track record of successful project execution underscores our unparalleled knowledge of scaffolding and formwork.

Projects that Have Defined Nhleko Scaffolding & Formwork

We have a fantastic team behind all the projects we do, and we do many. From supplying customised scaffold towers for major plastering and painting renovations to erecting column formwork for warehouses, we remain committed to seeing every project to completion. Our main area of expertise lies in the safe assembly, erection, and dismantling of scaffold and formwork solutions, which we have successfully supplied to various builds.

Using our access and formwork solutions together has allowed us to aid in the flawless execution of monolithic structures, such as the reconstruction of the Soshanguve Magistrate Court, where we supplied and erected shuttering, and at the Waterfall Country Estate, where we supplied the formwork that constructed homes for families.

As our extensive portfolio of services extends beyond supplying the critical tools to complete builds, our access solutions have been used to carry out maintenance on a Midrand apartment block and to preserve the façade of the Johannesburg Library. Our commitment to tailored scaffolding includes providing the labour to operate towers safely, which is what we did for one of our valued customers when construction was carried out at KSL Bendor and Baobab student villages.

It fills us with pride knowing that we had a hand in the formation stages of many buildings and bridges throughout the province and beyond.

Growing Future Leaders

As much as we are honoured to be nominated for the Nedbank Business Ignite award, we will continue to do what we value the most, nurturing the professional development of those considering a future in the construction industry. With our expert guidance and years of experience in the industry, we can mentor emerging entrepreneurs and play a crucial role in empowering future leaders. We firmly believe that through actively participating in effective and positive change, we can grow and sustain South Africa’s economy.

After being in the industry for almost a decade, it is our goal to continue to develop our business by expanding into the Durban and Cape Town market sectors, offering our unique services and products to the thriving construction businesses in these provinces.

We are grateful to the small business community which has supported us from the moment we opened our doors and that has allowed us to grow into the business that we are today.
